How useful are social media analytic tools really?
To put it plainly, they are VERY important.
In today’s age of business, an online presence is everything. Whether it be online storefronts, social media posts, google results, blogs, you name it. Being able to interact with customers online is a growing importance for nearly every business, and social media analytic tools are a huge help when it comes to strategizing those efforts of online interaction.
What do they do?
To most people, it looks like a bunch of graphs and charts that show random numbers, colors, and meaningless words, so you probably just decide to ignore that tab. However, if you take your online customers seriously, you need to learn the language of analytics. Those graphs and charts show you exactly what type of interactions are happening (likes, dislikes, comments, shares, reactions, etc.) and exactly when they are happening. If one of your posts receives significantly more likes and comments than your previous posts, you might want to know why/how it happened — this is exactly what the analytics do.
